Corn Muffin

Corn Muffin ala Kenny Roger's

Ni resepi Corn Muffin macam yg ade juai kat Kenny Roger's masa dolu2. Dulu2 masa zaman student kat MMU, Tini selalu bawak balik rumah sewa bagi kitorang rasa, hasil ditapau dari restoran Kenny Roger's - masa tu die keje part time kat Kenny Roger's kat building yg macam kon opposite Jaya Jusco Melaka. Bangunna tu nama ape eh? Ingat lagi die keje dgn Gee naik moto sama2.. Hahaha.. * Gee mesti bengang bukak cite lama ni*. Sekarang ni rasanya dah tak wujud dah corn muffin ni. Resepi ni dah lama simpan, ni baru je try sbb baru je jumpa bahan die Corn meal/Maize meal kat Cold Storage, Bangsar Shopping Village. Kat kedai bahan2 kek biase takde juai benda nih, dah cari kat beberapa kedai tapi tokey kedai tu blur je bila sebut cornmeal. Kat bawah ni ade gambar cornmeal & muffin yg dah siap sedia utk dimakan..




Bahan :

1/2 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar

1/2 cup
milk
1/4 cup
honey
2
eggs
1/2 teaspoon
salt
1 1/2 cups
all-purpose flour
3/4 cup
cornmeal
1/2 teaspoon
baking powder
3/4 cup frozen
corn * bulih gak guna whole corn kernel dlm tin


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Mix butter, sugar, honey, eggs, and salt into a large bowl.
  3. Add flour, cornmeal, and baking powder and blend thoroughly.
  4. Add milk while mixing.
  5. Add corn to mixture and work into mixture.
  6. Do not mash corn, the whole kernel is baked into the muffin.
  7. Fill a muffin pan with 12 paper/foil muffin cups and fill 2/3 full with batter.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until muffins are light brown.

Kek Pisang

Ni resepi kek pisang requested by few opismates. Dah cuba buat 2 kali. Gerenti senang & sedap.



Bahan (A)
230 gm gula castor * or 1 cup
4 biji telur
1 sdb ovallete
1-2 titis esen pisang

Bahan (B) - ayak bersama
300 gm tepung gandum *or 2 3/4 cups
1 sdt baking powder
1 sdt soda bikarbonat

Bahan (C) - blend bersama
10 biji pisang berangan
250 ml susu segar perasa koko

(D)125 ml minyak sayur/masak * or 1/2 cup

Cara:

Panaskan oven at 180C
Pukul Bahan (A) sampai kembang
Masukkan Bahan (C) & whip sikit
Masukkan Bahan (B) & whip sikit
Masukkan Bahan (D) & whip sikit

Tuangkan dalam acuan kek & bakar lebih kurang 40 minit. Kalu belum masak, bakar sikit lagi. (cek dgn lidi, kalu takde melekat kira dah masak la tuh)

Note :
*Kek ni kuantiti die agak banyak, kalu bekas nak bakar kecik rasanya kena masak 2 kali. Me guna 9 x 9 inch square pan
* Kalu takde susu coklat bulih gak ganti dgn susu biasa, nanti kaler die lebih cerah & agak kurang manis
* Pisang bulih guna jenis lain, tak semestinya pisang berangan. Kalau guna pisang yg kecik eg pisang emas, kena lebihkan sikit pisangnya. Agak2 je la..

Cream of Mushroom Soup

Baru balik keje.. tak tau nak masak ape. Budak2 tak bangun lagi , tgh tido petang... senang nye jadi budak2.. keje makan , main , tido jek..

By the way, sekarang bulih guna PC dgn aman sbb competitor tgh tido.. yey..

Ni resepi Cream of Mushroom Soup requested by izham

bahan2:

3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp tepung gandum
2 biji bwg besar - cincang
2 ulas bawang putih - cincang
2 cawan mushroom fresh- biasa aku guna cendawan butang yg fresh ade juai kat Supermarket cthnya kat Carrefour. Satu pek mushroom tu dlm RM 8 rasanya
4 cawan stok ayam - kalu malas buat stok ayam bulih ganti dgn 1 kiub ayam + air 4 cawan
1 cawan cream - biasa aku tak de cream ni aku ganti dgn susu je
2 cawan susu - aku guna susu dlm kotak , eg dutch lady / HL/ Marigold etc
Sedikit Herbs - oregano / thyme / basil
Sedikit lada hitam
garam

Cara2:

panaskan butter
tumis bawang besar & bawang putih sampai naik bau
masukkan cincangan cendawan then agak2 layu bulih masukkan tepung, kacau sampai agak2 tepung tukar kaler jadik perang - kalu agak mcm tak cukup minyak bulih tambah butter sikit
tambahkan stok ayam and susu
tambahkan cream - kalu guna la
bubuh garam, lada hitam and herbs - pandai2 la rasa masin die
masak sampai pekat sikit
tutup api sat and amik separuh or lebih dari sup, sejukkan sikit pastu blend bagi halus
campur balik yg dah kena blend tadi dgn sup kat periuk tu, panaskan sekejap je

Siap utk dimakan dgn garlic bread

Note : Ni cara nak buat garlic bread yg senang

Amik 2-3 ulas bawang putih, cincang halus
campurkan garlic tu dgn beberapa sudu butter , agak2 je la..
sapukan atas roti gardenia
bakar dlm 5 minit or sampai perang.. kalu suka roti hangit bulih bakar sampai hitam.. haha

Resepi Lasagna

Ter stuck kat IDC Brickfield nih. Ingat nak balik cepat, skali ujan lebat gile kat luar.. nak pi kat kete pun takleh.. so curik masa sikit utk post resepi ni..

Requested by Nani, here goes..

Bahan A : Sos Merah

500g minced beef/ayam/ * biasa pakai ramly burger mince beef tu.. satu ketul tu cukup
1 tin tomato puree * biasa guna brand S&W, takpun lagi senang guna Campbell's Tomato & Basil
1 biji bawang besar dipotong dadu
2-3 biji bawang putih dicincang
1 tin mushroom - hiris sesuka hati
1-2 biji tomato - potong dadu
Kiub daging / ayam kalu suka
oregano
black pepper

- kalu suka byk sayur bulih tambah carrot / celery / green pepper

Tumiskan bawang besar dan bawang putih hingga naik baunya
Masukkan daging cincang, biarkan seketika
Masukkan pula tomato puree
Masukkan mushroom & tomato - ataupun sayur2 lain
Masukkan black pepper, oregano, garam dan gula secukupnya. Kacaukan sekali sekala hingga masak dan kuah agak pekat

Bahan B : Sos Putih

2 sudu butter
2-3 sudu tepung
2 cawan susu
1 cawan parutan cheese - aku guna cheddar & mozarella cheese *cheese ni suka hati nak byk ke sikit.. 1/2 cawan pun ok
sikit garam, black peper & oregano

Atas api perlahan, masak butter, then masukkan tepung, kacau rata
Masukkan susu
Agak2 mendidih masukkan garam, black pepper & oregano secukup rasa. Kalu nak rasa kena darah tinggi sila lebihkan garam :D
agak dah pekat sikit, masukkan cheese, terus tutup api, then kacau sampai cheese cair

Bahan C :

Lasagna Sheet - aku guna San Remo, instant Lasagna sheet, yg ni takyah rebus2 dulu
1 cup parutan cheese - aku guna mozarella & cheddar, kalu ade parmesan pun bulih gak kot
Bekas nak bakar - pyrex / vision / aluminium pan / bekas bakar kek

Cara2 :

a. Lapiskan lasagna sheet kat dlm bekas nak bakar tu
b. Lapiskan Sos Merah
c. Lapiskan Sos putih
d. Tabur sikit grated cheese tadi

Ulang a - d sampai abis bahan2. Biasa aku buat 2 lapis je. Lapis atas sekali mesti diakhiri dgn sos putih, pastu boleh taburkan grated cheese byk2 .

Bakar dlm oven suhu dlm 175 C dlm 30 minit. Cucuk dgn tester/ lidi utk cek sama ada lasagna sheet tu lembut ke tak. Kalu tak lembut, bakar sikit lagi sampai lembut.

Note :
Lasagna sheet ni bulih diganti dgn macaroni or pasta2 lain. Proses sama, cuma macaroni tu kena rebus sampai lembut dulu. Bakar dlm 20 minit.

Kalu ada leftover kuah spaghetti bolognaise pun boleh guna sebagai sos merah.

Resepi Pop Corn

This recipe was requested by few opismates & Diana.

* Diana weh, bila nak start blog ko?

Easy Pop Corn Recipe

2-3 tbsp corn oil
1/2 cup corn ( biasanya main agak2 je dlm 2 genggam)
* Jagung kering ni ade jual timbang kat Carrefour. Kat billion pun ade dah siap paket2.

Cara :

Bubuh minyak jagung dlm non-stick wok. Agak2 dah panas bubuh je jagung dlm kuali tu dan tutup dgn penutup kuali. Api perlahan je. Biarkan die meletup2 sendiri sampai agak2 sume jagung dah abis meletup. Ketepikan sat.

* Jgn pakai kuali/periuk biasa, nanti die melekat & hangit. Aku dah cuba dah..
* ade org pakai microwave. Tapi aku tak penah cuba. Sape dah try pakai microwave bulih bagi feedback

Cara buat sira utk pop corn :

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup corn syrup / liquid glucose
* Tak penah jumpa corn syrup, so substitute dgn liquid glucose - boleh beli kat kedai juai bahan2 buat kek, kat Bangi ade Yummy Bakery kat belakang Warta

Masak 3 bahan di atas sampai berbuih2, pastu campurkan dgn pop corn tadi, kacau sampai rata atas api perlahan. Kalu taknak manis sgt bulih bubuh sikit2 sira sampai sesedap rasa.

Bila dah agak2 rata, bubuh popcorn tu atas dulang & bakar sekejap dlm oven dln 3-4 minit, utk bagi crunchy.

Siap utk dimakan seisi keluarga sambil tengok Playhouse Disney Chanel.
